# Jung（Analytical psychology）

## Common research question

**Why is Jungian individuation more than simply knowing oneself better?**

For Jung, individuation concerns the evolving relation between conscious attitudes and unconscious processes, including the persona, shadow, and the Self. It is not just gathering personality facts or a single mystical discovery of a hidden essence. This entry follows the current archive’s documented argument about individuation; a separate account of the collective unconscious and archetypes would require additional cited primary passages.

## Interpretive boundary

Symbolic parallels are not experimental proof; track Jung's conceptual development.
