# Paul（Early Christianity）

## Common research question

**What does justification by faith mean in Paul's letters?**

Paul's justification by faith belongs within arguments about law, grace, Christ, community, and transformed life. It cannot be reduced to merely repeating a belief while action becomes irrelevant. Romans and Galatians are central; disputed letters must not be silently assigned to the historical Paul.

## Interpretive boundary

Separate undisputed letters, disputed epistles, and later denominational readings.
