# Heidegger（Phenomenology & ontology）

## Common research question

**Why does Heidegger distinguish Being from beings?**

Heidegger's ontological difference asks about Being rather than merely another being. It does not look for the largest or strongest object in the universe. Being and Time begins through Dasein's understanding of Being, while later writings reshape questions of truth, language, and the history of Being. These phases must be read together without forced identity.

## Interpretive boundary
